Virgin Atlantic Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking without penalty within 24 hours of making your reservation. A Flight Change Fee will apply if you plan to alter your departure date or time (per passenger, per flight) after this time. You will need to contact Virgin to determine the cost of a change however, as the fees vary.
Refunds.
- (a) Some Tickets are sold at discounted fares and may be partly or completely non-refundable if you cancel your booking.
- (b) If your Ticket is refundable and you have not used any of it, you can ask for a refund of the entire amount paid (including any taxes, fees and charges).
Can you get your money back if you cancel your flight?
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, you can cancel a non-refundable ticket and receive a full refund of any airfare booked in the United States, without cancellation fees or penalties, as long as you booked your ticket seven days ahead of your flight and you do so within 24 hours of booking.
(b) You can correct the name on your booking and Ticket by contacting us or the Authorised Agent that made your booking. (a) You will only be allowed to change your itinerary if this is permitted by the Tariff that applies to your Ticket.
